I became a professional dog trainer in 2017 after experiencing firsthand the efficacy of reward based dog training methods when I attended a Puppy School course with my own puppy. I was blown away by how simple yet effective the reward based training methods we used were and how they helped my puppy Albert and I achieve success together in our training. I then went on to study to become a professional dog trainer and I have been a Puppy School UK certified tutor since 2018. I am also an accredited trainer with the Animal Behaviour & Training Council (ABTC), a full member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT, no.01514), a certified Scentwork training instructor and a Trusted Trainer for Therapy Dog Training UK.

I am fully insured, canine first aid trained and adhere to the ethical frameworks of the training councils with whom I am accredited. I am also committed to developing my dog training knowledge through regular continued professional development - so you can rest assured that you and your dog are in safe hands, with only the most current, kind and ethical training methods being used in our work together.

Lady & the Hound also partners with Dog First Aid Surrey to provide accredited dog first aid training courses to other canine professionals and dog guardians.
